Join Rebeca indoors for 60 minutes of gentle and calming all-levels yoga that will help you increase your body awareness, mindfulness and create active relaxation. No experience with yoga is necessary. These yoga classes in slow conscious movement can be essential for our health and well-being. In this class, we will use chairs while practicing mindful movement to help build and strengthen your perception universe – including recognizing and noticing external and internal stimuli, which can build positive changes in the brain. We will focus on the breath – coherent breathing is a direct line to the nervous system, cultivating self-acceptance, gratitude for the body and training ourselves to relax. *
Please bring your own mat and any other props that you appreciate (i.e. blanket, strap or block).

Instructor: Rebeca SiplakÂ
Rebeca began her love of yoga 26 years ago and completed her first Registered Yoga Training in 2014, with Erica Boucher of Empath Yoga in Orlando, FL. She completed her second RYT 200 training in 2019, with Kali Natha Yoga of Kashi Ashram in Sebastian. Rebeca is currently studying online with Kristine Kaoverii Weber of Subtle Yoga. Her professional pursuits include gardening and landscaping right here at McKee Botanical Garden where she is a member of our Horticultural team. She lives in Vero Beach with her husband, Derrick, and dog Twiga, where they are slowly fixing up their circa 1926 wood frame house and tending 20 fruit trees, native flowers and trees in the yard.
