New policies for the Garden

The admissions process has changed since the COVID-19 pandemic but it is for the safety of our team and visitors. When arriving at the Garden, you will notice marks on the ground signifying the necessary 6 feet for social distancing. You must maintain the recommended social distance of 6 feet. Restrooms are open but there are fewer facilities available due to the required 6 feet social distancing. For example, you will notice that if a sink is right next to one another, one will be marked unusable.
The Children's Garden, Library and Hall of Giants are all closed at this time. The Gift Shop is open by appointment. The Garden Café is open during its summer hours: Friday & Saturday (11 am - 3 pm), Sunday (Noon - 3 pm). Water fountains and water bottle refilling stations are not available. We recommend you bring your own water. Food and snacks are not permitted and outdoor table seating at the Garden is not available. McKee has bug spray available for use. Please bring your own sunscreen and personal sun protection.

Please do not visit McKee if you are feeling sick. If you have a cold, cough, runny nose, sore throat, muscle aches or fever, you will not be allowed in. Please come back when you are healthy.  Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present ; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit.

McKee is following the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our team and visitors. You are required to comply with all current policies; any visitor not following our policies will be politely escorted off site.
