MCKEE CELEBRATES EDUCATORS WITH $1 ADMISSION ON MAY 11

In celebration of National Teacher Appreciation Week, McKee Botanical Garden is offering $1 admission to all educators on Saturday, May 11.

Teachers and education employees can present their school identification at Admissions to receive the special discounted rate.

“Education is one of our core values here at McKee and we strongly support education in our community,” stated Executive Director Christine Hobart. “This is an opportunity to give back to our local teachers and administrators in appreciation for their role in shaping the minds and character of our youth.”

Located on an 18-acre tropical hammock, McKee Botanical Garden is home to a diverse collection of more than 10,000 native and tropical plants as well as 100 species of waterlilies. The site features two unique structures designed and built by founder and folk artist, Waldo Sexton and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
