As summer camp season gears up, McKee Botanical Garden announces the return of its popular Camp McKee, a weeklong nature encounter for children ages 5 - 9.

Camp McKee will be held July 19-23 and Aug. 9-13 - and costs $200 per camper per session. Snacks, lunch, supplies and a free t-shirt are included.

“We really look forward to our summer camp all year,” said McKee Executive Director Christine Hobart. “It’s wonderful to be able to introduce so many kids to nature on such a personal level. This is a truly formative experience for them.”

Each week at Camp McKee will feature a variety of developmental activities, including hands-on interaction with live animals, art, dance, games and music. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily.
